The Kennesaw Business Association celebrates thirty-four years of being more than just a business association. While business to business networking is a top priority, the KBA is heavily involved with every Elementary, Middle, and High School in the Kennesaw area. The KBA also sponsors the Big Shanty Festival, one of the largest community events in North Georgia attracting over 50,000 people April 16-17, 2011, the success of the Big Shanty Festival allowed the KBA to donate over $23,000 to our local schools and community in 2010. In addition, The KBA partners with the City of Kennesaw, by raising funds for the Summer Concert Series through their sponsorship program. All funds raised are given directly to the Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Dept to help offset the cost of the concerts. The KBA and the City of Kennesaw also partner to bring you A Taste of Kennesaw, September 10, 2011. Last year $10,000 in donations were given to four community charities from the revenue generated from A Taste of Kennesaw. It is the mission of the over 350 KBA members to create a better community to live, work, and play. Better schools, a solid community leads to an ideal environment to do business.
